When you make a $17 wreath sponsorship, a hand-made balsam wreath with a red velvet bow is shipped to one of more than 4,000 participating locations that take part in the National Wreaths Across America Day event on Saturday, December 14th. A volunteer will then place that wreath on the headstone of an American hero and say that servicemembers name out loud, so their memory of service and sacrifice live on.
